Contaminants and our products designed to remove them:

Chloride removal from refinery vapour and liquid streams with the Chlorocel series:

  • Chlorocel 901. Promoted spherical activated alumina. High loading. Inorganic Chloride removal from reforming operations.
  • Chlorocel RCL. Spherical metal oxide for the removal of organic chlorides.
  • Chlorocel 905. 13x zeolite for removal of inorganic and organic chlorides whilst inhibiting theformation of green oil.
  • Chlorocel 909. Mixed metal oxide extrudate. The longest breakthrough time and the highest HCL capacity option. Ideal for CCR chloride guard beds where formation of organic chlorides must be minimised.

Acid control in olefinic streams with the Dynocel series:
Regenerable activated aluminas for the removal of acidic compounds such as H2S, COS, CO2 from vapour or liquid phase olefinic streams.

H2O: Desiccant drying with Dryocel 848
Dryocel 848 & Dryocel 850. Spherical activated aluminas for regenerable desiccant air dryers and industrial gas & liquids drying and use as a trim layer in natural gas dehydration.

Arsine and sulphur impurities removal with Dynocel ASR:
Metal Oxide promoted activated alumina for the removal of sulphur impurities incl Arsine, phosphine, H2S, COS, mercaptans from vapour and liquid phase process streams incl propylene.

HF defluorination with Fluorocel 830:
Spherical promoted fluoride adsorbent tailored for optimum activity towards organic fluoride decomposition and HF removal from alkylation propane, butane, alkylate streams. Promoter maximizes fluoride loading capacity with significant reduction in coking tendency.

Mercury removal with Dynocel Hg

Metal Oxide promoted activated alumina adsorbent for removal of Hg from water saturated natural gas.

Purocel RI activated bauxite for rejuvenating oils

Regenerable granular activated bauxites for removal of colour, odour, acidity impurities from transformer oil and lubrication oil.
