DIACEL® product series is specifically developed as organic filter aid for solid-liquid filtration, and also offers very good properties for other applications, e.g. in surface treatment and as a pressing aid.
DIACEL® filter aids are different from other filter aids because they are purely organic. They are produced of regenerative raw materials exclusively. The raw materials of DIACEL® products are made of cellulose extracted from various plants.
All DIACEL® filtration celluloses are bio-degradable and offer high sustainability and outstanding environmental compatibility. Ecological benefits result specifically when disposing of filter sludges and in the recovery of raw materials.
The benefits of DIACEL® filter aids are outstandingly evident in the area of industrial filtration. High chemical stability permits a very wide application range and offers the safety of a stable process.
Compressibility of DIACEL® material permits recovery of bound liquid from the filter cake.
Applications in the industrial non-food area include chemical solutions, mineral oils/cooling lubricants, grinding waters, galvanic baths and sewage.
In addition to applications in the industrial area, use is also recommended in sensitive areas such as the food or pharmaceutics industries. DIACEL® filter aids are inert and do not influence taste and smell of the filtered liquids. We use controlled process sequences to meet customer-specific requirements regarding best flow rates and service lives.

The Range
DIACEL® cellulose fibres
Highly pure cellulose fibres for ambitious filtration jobs. The DIACEL® product series comprises not only organic filter celluloses but also organic filter aids from annual plants. We therefore solely rely on natural, regenerative raw materials. Fibre lengths available range from 20 µm to 2500 µm.
DIACEL® corncob
DIACEL® corncob - plant fibres for Ideal purity. Our DIACEL® corncob plant fibres are produced from the corn plant, an annually regenerative plant culture.
DIACEL® corncob filter aids can be used on all precoating filter systems and are successfully applied in many industrial areas. DIACEL® corncob products are available in various grain sizes. The range goes from approx. 250 µm to 2000 µm.
DIACEL® basic
Natural wood fibres for an eco-friendly filtration.
DIACEL® basic is a product group for use in solid-liquid filtration and as a pressing agent. The products can be used in all common pre-coat filter systems.
The raw materials of our DIACEL® basic products are untreated woods. We use controlled process sequences to meet customer-specific requirements regarding best flow rates and service lives.
